The recently concluded Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2023) in Egypt resulted in trade and investment agreements valued at approximately $43.7 billion, surpassing the projected figure of $43 billion. The event saw 1,939 exhibitors from 45 African countries and 16 non-African countries, with a total attendance of 28,282 participants. The executive vice-president of Afreximbank highlighted the IATF as a significant platform for growing intra-African trade and enhancing access to finance on the continent.
