Telecommunication network provider, 9mobile, has launched a special hajj roaming offer for Nigerian pilgrims embarking on the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The offer aims to provide affordable roaming services for voice calls, SMS, and data during their pilgrimage.
The Hajj Special roaming offer will be available until August 31, 2023, allowing 9mobile customers to enjoy discounted charges on calls, data, and SMS transactions while roaming on the Zain network in Saudi Arabia. One of the key benefits of the offer is free incoming calls for up to 200 minutes upon a one-off or cumulative recharge of N5,000.
Under the special offer, voice calls within Saudi Arabia and back to Nigeria will be charged at a low tariff of N60 per minute, while SMS within Saudi Arabia and back to Nigeria will cost only N30 per SMS. Data usage will be charged at a rate of 5 kobo per kilobyte (N0.005k/kb).
