Stephen Akintayo Foundation, under the auspices of Gtext Holdings, grants $5,000 each to 20 emerging entrepreneurs to bolster their businesses, with plans to expand support to 100 entrepreneurs across Africa next year. In tandem, Rana Ijaz Ahmad assumes the role of Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) at Gtext Holdings, steering the company’s trajectory toward global venture capital, particularly in the United States.
Dr. Stephen Akintayo, the founder, now serves as Chairman, unveiling ambitious goals, including constructing a thousand homes in the United States and Nigeria through Gtext Homes, Africa’s leading developer of green and smart homes. Ahmad, a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience spanning diverse industries, is poised to propel Gtext Holdings into new heights, drawing from his expertise in corporate banking, fund management, hospitality, real estate, and oil and gas.
Akintayo, reflecting on the transition, highlights the strategic move to attract institutional funding for the expanding ventures, emphasizing the need to leverage available credit to enhance client service, especially in the thriving real estate markets of Nigeria, Dubai, and the United States. As the founder, Akintayo traces his entrepreneurial journey from bulk SMS to real estate, establishing a multifaceted business empire to address diverse facets of the real estate industry.
