The 2025 Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES) will bring together experts and stakeholders to examine the transformative role of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in shaping Africa’s energy future. Scheduled for February 24–27, 2025, in Abuja, the summit will focus on unlocking growth opportunities in oil, gas, and power sectors across the continent.
Themed: “Driving Cross-Continental Investments: Scaling Africa’s Energy Frontier,” the summit will tackle key challenges, such as infrastructure development, energy security, and Africa’s transition toward a sustainable energy future. According to James Shindi, CEO of Brevity Anderson, the event will explore pathways to attract international capital and position Africa as a global energy leader.
Hosted by the special adviser to the president on energy, Mrs. Olu Arowolo Verheijen, the summit promises to connect investors, policymakers, and industry leaders to foster innovation and drive transformative growth in Africa’s energy landscape.
