The 24th NOG Energy Week, slated to take place in Abuja from June 29 to July 3, 2025, will see the participation of over 7,000 leaders, policymakers, regulators, and industry professionals from more than 85 countries. This prestigious event is set to be a pivotal moment for discussions on energy investment, innovation, and security, with a particular focus on Africa’s role in the evolving global energy landscape.
The five-day event will bring together key stakeholders to address the challenges and opportunities in the energy sector. It will feature a range of activities, including a Strategic Conference, CPD-accredited Technical Seminar, Nigerian Content Seminar, International Exhibition, Energy Awards, Leadership Roundtables, and a Golf Day. These diverse platforms will facilitate in-depth discussions and foster collaboration across various segments of the energy value chain.
Wemimo Oyelana, Country Director for Nigeria & Portfolio Director for Energy at dmg Nigeria Events, emphasized the strategic importance of NOG Energy Week 2025 in shaping Africa’s energy future. “The breadth of this year’s programme, from policy-shaping ministerial dialogues to technical deep dives and innovation showcases, reflects our commitment to facilitating real progress across the entire energy value chain,” Oyelana stated.
The Strategic Conference will feature ministerial sessions, energy talks, and panel discussions aimed at analysing Africa’s comparative position in the global energy order. The discussions will address critical issues such as safeguarding energy security and achieving climate goals simultaneously.
Running alongside the conference, the CPD-certified Technical Seminar will offer vocational training for engineers, scientists, project managers, and innovators. The seminar will cover topics such as midstream infrastructure optimisation, drilling technologies, sustainability initiatives, modular gas systems, and emission reduction.
In addition, the Nigerian Content Seminar, organised in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), will explore the advancements made under the NOGICD Act. It will focus on strategies to enhance local capacity and service delivery within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, with an emphasis on deepening domestic value retention and supporting the growth of indigenous companies.
The International Exhibition, which is now open for pre-registration, will showcase over 350 exhibitors, including country pavilions from China and India. The exhibition will highlight the latest innovations in exploration and production, low-carbon technologies, digital operations, LNG, and renewable energy integration.
