TikTok has launched TikTok for Artists in Nigeria, a platform designed to help musicians, creators, and record labels grow their careers using data-driven insights.

The platform, which debuted globally earlier this year, provides artists with a daily-updated dashboard on song performance, audience demographics, and fan engagement, alongside step-by-step guides for long-term career planning.

Toyin Mustapha, TikTok’s head of music partnerships for the UK, Ireland, and sub-Saharan Africa, said the launch reflects the platform’s commitment to empowering creators:

“With TikTok for Artists in Nigeria, we’re giving artists and their teams access to insights that help them engage their fans in more meaningful ways and grow their careers globally.”

TikTok also unveiled a pre-release tool, enabling musicians to promote upcoming albums and allow fans to pre-save songs on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

British musician Jordan Adetunji praised the platform as a “game changer,” saying it offers the transparency and metrics needed for effective campaign planning.

TikTok said the rollout underscores its long-term investment in Africa’s creative economy and its mission to help local talent achieve sustainable, global success.
