Heirs Insurance Group (HIG) has announced plans to host the inaugural Heirs Insurance Travel Festival on November 29 in Lagos, aimed at promoting cross-border tourism, cultural exchange, and inclusive travel across Africa.

According to Chief Marketing Officer, Ifesinachi Okpagu, the one-day event will convene key players in the travel and tourism industry, including embassy officials, content creators, and travel enthusiasts, in what she described as an “immersive celebration of diversity and collaboration.”

With the theme “Promoting Cultural Diversity and an Inclusive Travel Ecosystem,” the festival will feature high-level diplomatic sessions, fireside chats with leading African travel creators, and discussions on partnerships that strengthen tourism and global connectivity.

Okpagu noted that the initiative reflects Heirs Insurance’s commitment to fostering a borderless and inclusive travel culture, emphasizing the company’s role in providing insurance solutions that enable safe, seamless international mobility.

She added that attendees will enjoy a dynamic mix of live performances, cultural showcases, interactive games, and a curated marketplace featuring food, lifestyle, and tourism brands — celebrating the vibrancy of Africa’s travel scene.
