Digital invoicing platform, Afri Invoice, is recording increased adoption as Nigerian businesses prepare for sweeping tax reforms by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
Founder of Afri Invoice, Mark Odenore, said firms across sectors were accelerating digital transformation to align with anticipated changes in transaction reporting and tax compliance.
In a statement issued on Monday in Lagos, Odenore said the platform was offering incentives to encourage early adoption of digital invoicing tools as the new tax laws approach implementation.
He noted that manual invoicing posed compliance risks for businesses under the evolving regulatory framework, stressing that e-invoicing would become central to transparency and efficiency in Nigeria’s tax ecosystem.
Odenore said Afri Invoice helps automate invoicing, track payments in real time and ensure alignment with FIRS technical requirements, reducing errors, penalties and cash flow disruptions.
According to him, the platform currently records a 99.7 per cent compliance rate with a 100 per cent penalty-free track record, supported by QR-code authentication, audit trails and automatic data synchronisation.
He added that Afri Invoice is mobile-friendly, functions in low-data environments and can operate offline during power outages, with automatic syncing once connectivity is restored.
Odenore said the platform integrates payment channels including bank transfers, cards and mobile money, enabling businesses to generate compliant, branded invoices within minutes as they brace for Nigeria’s next phase of tax reforms.
