TGI Group has introduced Tastemaker by Terra, a new chicken-flavoured seasoning powder designed to deliver consistent taste, aroma and convenience in home cooking.
The company said the product was developed to meet the growing demand for reliable flavour bases in modern Nigerian kitchens, where cooking ingredients often vary with seasons and lifestyle pressures.
Speaking on the product, Probal Bhattacharya, Chief Marketing Officer at TGI Group, said the development of the seasoning was driven by consumer insights aimed at supporting practical cooking habits.
According to him, the product was not designed as a shortcut to cooking, but as a dependable flavour foundation that simplifies meal preparation while preserving the warmth and richness expected from home-cooked food.
He explained that the “Sprinkle, Stir, Serve” concept reflects the brand’s focus on simplicity and reliability, allowing the seasoning to complement common kitchen ingredients such as onions, peppers, garlic and herbs.
The company said the seasoning powder is carefully blended to elevate everyday meals and is suitable for refined home cooking, special gatherings and shared family dining moments.
Tastemaker by Terra is packaged in a premium 400g pack and is currently available in chicken flavour at neighbourhood retail stores and supermarkets nationwide. “Produced in chicken flavour, the seasoning is targeted at enhancing a wide range of meals, including jollof rice, stews and stir-fries. The brand’s guiding principle is summarised in the simple process of “Sprinkle, Stir, Serve,” which the company said is intended to help home cooks achieve consistent results without replacing traditional cooking methods,’’ the company said.
