Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan Named Among Top 50 Influential Women

Director, Commercial and Communications at News Central TV, Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan, has been named among the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications at the 12th edition of the Women in Marketing and Communications Awards (WIMCA) 2026.

The award was presented recently, at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, during an event attended by professionals, executives and stakeholders in Nigeria’s marketing, advertising, media and communications industries.

The WIMCA Top 50 recognition honours women who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, professional excellence and impact in Nigeria’s marketing and communications sector.

Egabor-Afolahan was recognised for her work in marketing, communications, media and business development, including her role at News Central TV, where she oversees commercial and communications activities.

She has contributed to the station’s communications strategy, commercial visibility and brand positioning, as well as its engagement with audiences, partners and other stakeholders.
