The convener of Operation Rebuilding The Broken Walls, Apostle Dr Paul Akinselure, has warned Nigerians not to abuse positions of privileges and opportunities but to take advantage of such positions to serve God through humanity.

Speaking in a media chat in Ondo State recently, Pastor Akinselure said every Nigerian should never see privileged positions as a means to enrich themselves, to gather wealth only for themselves and our unborn generations.

He lamented that it’s a pity that today, most people see opportunities to serve God through humanity as a means to enrich themselves, to gather wealth only for themselves and our unborn generations.

He said that Satan is the one tempting and deceiving most of those in the positions of authority and power to turn stones into bread, not realizing that God wants them to multiply the loaves at their disposal to feed our nations and generations. He said, “That’s why we see people in the corridor of power today embezzling the public funds, enriching themselves and gathering wealth, diverting what is supposed to be used for the betterment of our societies to their personal and selfish use.

“I want us to know that this act of diverting public funds to personal and selfish use is satanic, wicked, and uncalled for. And because of this singular act, our country is still where it is today. We bring nothing to this world, and we’re all going to leave with nothing, according to 1 Timothy 6:7. It’s high time we change our mindset and stop seeing opportunities given to us to serve God by serving our people as avenues to enrich ourselves.

“God’s original plan and purpose for us is to multiply five loaves of bread to feed multitudes and still have leftovers. When I’m talking about those in the corridor of power,

I’m not only referring to those who are holding public/governmental positions. I’m also referring to everyone in any position, place of authority and power, whether secular or spiritual. I have seen many so-called men and women of God taking advantage of their gullible followers, enslaving them and extorting, milking and drying them to enrich themselves, forgetting that they’re only opportunities and privileged to be called by God into His fold.

“It’s high time we changed from this wicked, selfish, heartless, and satanic way of service and leadership and embraced true godly service and leadership, knowing fully well that we are all going to give an account of all our stewardship one day.”
