Akinwumi Releases Book On Managing Change

Strategic leadership expert, Dr Akinwumi Oke, has launched a new book to help positional leaders in corporate and non-corporate spaces, employees and managers on how to navigate through relentless pace of change.

The book, titled: ‘Lead Disruption: A Definitive Guide for Exceptional leadership in the Era of Uncertainty; according to Akinwumi, is poised to equip those who want to lead in their fields with principles of effective leadership with practical examples.

Akinwumi, also a leadership coach, management strategic and public speaker, who has over 20 years’ experience across key management competencies both in public, private and non- profit, said: “While the need for personal effectiveness in leadership cannot be overemphasised, and there is a plethora of books on the subject. However, the high level of unpredictability in the nature and root cause(s) of uncertainty requires that leaders adopt a constant evaluation of their skillsets in line with the dynamics of change.

“A brave new world occasioned by the relentless onslaught of external and internal forces of disruption – from the health pandemic to tectonic shifts in technology adoption and consumer behaviour across all industry sectors.”

The 103-page book extensively present effective personal leadership by offering readers essential insights for navigating the challenges of leading effectively in a rapidly changing world.
