The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) will implement a review of select service fees effective August 1, 2025, as part of ongoing reforms to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by the Commission’s management, the CAC said the fee adjustment is driven by prevailing economic realities, rising operational costs, and consultations with key stakeholders.
“The Commission wishes to inform the general public, esteemed customers, and all stakeholders that in the continued efforts to improve its service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August, 2025,” the statement read.
It added that the fee review is aimed at sustaining the delivery of prompt, efficient, and technology-driven services that align with stakeholder expectations and contribute to the growth of Nigeria’s economy.
The CAC assured that the new fees would remain modest, competitive, and in line with its commitment to digitised operations and improved customer experience.
“The review is also crucial to maintaining the integrity of the Nigerian Corporate Registry,” the Commission said, while reaffirming its dedication to transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
The move comes amid a broader push by the CAC to formalise business operations nationwide. In April, the Commission directed companies, limited liability partnerships, and operators of unregistered business names to regularise their status within six weeks or risk regulatory action.
