Norway were poor in the period on view, losing two games against Serbia and Slovenia. And their poor display showed as they dropped six places to 42nd on the rankings.

The top ten is unchanged, as Brazil still lead the pack. Belgium, Argentina, France, England, Italy Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, and Denmark complete the top ten countries.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles have set up another friendly natch against a World Cup-bound team for November having previously gotten Portugal in an involvement.

The Nigerian senior national has gotten a friendly against Costa Rica slated for the 11th of November, 2022.

Costa Rica are headed to the 2022 World Cup where they will face Spain, Germany and Japan in group E of the mundial.

Nigeria had previously secured a friendly against Portugal, whom they will now face six days after slugging it out against the Costa Ricans.

The Super Eagles lost their last international friendly game against Algeria 2-1 in Oran, and the result has led to the team getting lowered in ranking.

Nigeria now rank 32nd in the world, one place below Costa Rica who moved up in the rankings for September.

The Super Eagles have secured major friendly games despite missing out on the World Cup and will use the games as preparations for next year’s AFCON qualifiers.
