Colorado Springs Nigeria’s community celebrate 63rd Independence Day with a Focus on Cultural and Economic Exchange.

In a splendid gathering on October 3, 2023, residents of Colorado Sp arings came together to commemorate Nigeria’s 63rd year of independence. The event was a testament to the outstanding Nigerians in the community who are dedicated to strengthening the bonds of social, cultural, and economic interaction between the Nigerian diaspora and the broader American population.

Distinguished figures graced the celebration, shedding light on the rich and diverse Nigerian community thriving in Colorado Springs. Mayor Yemi Mobolade, a prominent guest, participated in the festivities, acknowledging Nigeria’s vibrant cultural heritage.

The presence of the CEO of the Black Chambers of Commerce added significance to the event, emphasising the importance of economic collaboration and partnership.
