The Initiative for Leadership Development and Change (ILDC) has expressed unwavering confidence in Tesla’s reputation and innovation following the recent explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.
Chief Ugochukwu Nnam, ILDC President, praised Tesla Automotive’s high standards, describing its cars as the best globally. He aligned with Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s claim that the incident was a terrorist act rather than a fault in Tesla’s technology.
“I own a Tesla car, and it has never had issues despite being exposed to extreme conditions. The explosion in Las Vegas is clearly terrorism-related,” Nnam said during a press briefing in Abuja.
Tesla, an Austin, Texas-based leader in electric vehicles and clean energy, has faced scrutiny over the explosion. However, Nnam defended the brand, commending Musk for his groundbreaking achievements in science and technology.
“Elon Musk is a beacon of technological advancement. His innovations have revolutionised global science, and Tesla cars remain reliable and trusted worldwide,” he added.
Nnam urged continued confidence in Tesla’s electric vehicles, highlighting their proven performance and quality in the global market.
