Dangote Clinches Multiple Awards In Agric, Others

Dangote Industries, DIL, has won Awards after clinching first position as ‘Large Farmlands’ owner, and leading ‘Agro Processors’ and ‘Inputs Suppliers’ in the Country.

The recognition was at the instance of the National Agricshow which held in Keffi, Nasarawa State between 10th and 14th October.

Earlier, the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, offered the Company ‘Best Private Partner’, and ‘Sponsor of the Year’ certificates at the close of the  Abuja International Trade fair on  9th  October.

The awards followed Kano State House of Assembly’s approval of the re-naming of Kano University of Science and Technology to Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology.

Recently Dangote Industries Limited (DIL), emerged the Most Valuable Brand in Nigeria for a record 5th Year in a row, ascertained by the 2022 corporate brand evaluation conducted by the leading brand and marketing research firm, Top 50 Brand Nigeria.

President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, Dr. Mujtaba Abubakar lauded the partnership/sponsorship by Dangote over the years as a worthy partnership with the conglomerate.

Represented by the vice president, Mines, Dr Johnson Anene, he observed that Dangote Industries does not only sponsor programs, it enhances development of the different sectors of the economy

“Dangote encourages entrepreneurship, mentoring, skills acquisition, empowerment and development in all spheres”

Speaking at the occasion, Group Representative, and GGM, Bello Dan-Musa said Dangote is passionate about growth of Small and Medium scale businesses hence, the Theme of the 17th Abuja International Trade Fair , “Creating an Export Ready Market through SMEs Digitisation,” is apt.

He said all Dangote subsidiaries participated in the fair, and as Pan African Company and Global Player, DIL, intends to maximize the advantages from the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AFCFTA)

Dan-Musa reiterated that NASCON is a leading player in Salt and seasoning with expanding market shares across its categories while Dangote Sugar refinery commits to the realization of self sufficiency in Sugar production in line with the Nigeria Sugar Master Plan.

Dangote cement span 10 African Countries making it a leading brand in the World and the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa

As the Dangote Refinery, to actualize many dreams of Nigerians comes to completion, Dangote Fertiliser Plant, and Africa’s largest granulated Urea complex produces 3 million metric Tonnes per annum capacity to put smiles on the faces of farmers.
