Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to deepening technology-driven reforms, noting that the initiatives were already yielding tangible results and restoring investor confidence in Nigeria’s economy.
Shettima made this known at the opening of the Digital Nigeria International Conference and Exhibition (DNICE 2025) organised by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in Abuja.
Themed “Innovation for a Sustainable Digital Future: Accelerating Growth, Inclusion, and Global Competitiveness,” the three-day event brought together tech stakeholders, investors, and innovators from across the world.
“The uncertainties of the global economy, shifting alliances, and the rapid displacement of traditional jobs by emerging technologies have compelled us to act boldly,” Shettima said. “Our economic reforms are stabilising the sector, and I am proud to share that these reforms have inspired investor confidence. The world is taking note of our steady progress.”
He emphasised that digital innovation remains a sustainable and inclusive path toward national relevance and transformation, saying government policies are designed to ensure the benefits of growth reach all
