The chief executive officer of First Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Adesola Adeduntan has highlighted how the group ushered in an era of unparalleled banking convenience for its clientele, enabling them to conduct all their financial transactions seamlessly.

He disclosed this during the Annual Banking and Finance Conference’s cocktail party held in Abuja on a Monday evening.

Represented by Mr. Callistus Obetta, the group executive for Technology and Services at the bank, Adeduntan explained how technology has redefined the landscape of numerous industries, especially within the financial services sector. He emphasized the various stages of technological advancement that have propelled development, underpinned by the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In his address, Adeduntan noted that technology has substantially simplified processes such as payments, withdrawals, and other financial transactions for customers. This, in turn, has afforded customers more time for their personal pursuits, as technology has streamlined banking operations to make them effortless.
