The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has officially confirmed that insufficient gas supply is hindering its efforts to provide electricity to its extensive customer base.
In a notification posted on its official communication channel, EKEDC revealed that the ongoing reduction in power supply across its network is a direct result of gas shortages and other issues stemming from generating companies.
The DisCo expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and assured customers that it is actively collaborating with its partners to swiftly address the challenges. The statement read, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused even as we work with our partners for a speedy resolution.”
Despite the current hurdles, EKEDC reiterated its unwavering commitment to substantial investments in infrastructural development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
