Femi is the CEO of Creative Intelligence Group (CIG), corporate group of strategy, media, & content specialists – consulting for B2Bs and public-sector agencies. A professional result-delivering communication and innovation strategist. He possesses an in-depth experience in commercial and brand strategy, content development, and innovation spanning 16 years.
In his current role, Femi works with organizational leadership, business executives, and high profile start-ups – developing and implementing strategies to best solve communications problems, manage reputations, connect with audiences while building corporate visibility. Femi has consulted for a varied portfolio of reputable, global and national organisations, some of which include; planning and executing ongoing stakeholder communication initiatives for Flour Mills of Nigeria’s (FMN) NGN 150 billion worth of Backward Integration Projects; Tomato Jos Incorporated; the World Bank; Caterpillar; the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency; the 8th Nigerian Senate; Zebra Technologies; Olam Nigeria and Total E&P Coop amongst others. Notably in 2020, Femi along with his team at CIG developed the content & media strategy for the successful launch of Tomato Jos tomato Proceesing plant initiative, and its subsequent capital raise of $5 Million. The project is projected to process 150,000 tonnes of tomatoes at full capacity, fulfilling almost 20% of Nigeria’s tomato product supply gap.
Prior to CIG, Femi founded Ink Business Design and Consulting Limited, a brand and innovation agency which he scaled to over NGN 300 Million in revenues before its acquisition by CIG in 2019. Working with stakeholders from the State government, African Development Bank (AfDB) , and the World Bank, Femi was a key driver in getting Kaduna on the global investment map with innovative content, creative strategy, and messaging. He also led the content strategy development for the 8th Nigerian Senate, engaging a National youth audience and international stakeholders like the US Capitol, and the United States Institute for Peace. In 2021, his core focus is building on the previous years’ successes of CIG; helping clients navigate uncertain economic shifts due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, using innovative frameworks and insights.
Femi, is an alumnus of Public Relations from the Olabisi Onabanjo University and Entrepreneurship Management from the Lagos Business School. He has received executive training in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute (Dublin), Agile Strategy Development from the Account Planning Group (APG UK), and Innovation Management from the Future London Academy.
