English Premier League leader Liverpool are reportedly tracking Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and could sign him as Darwin Nunez’s replacement.
Osimhen has drawn a lot of interest from top teams across Europe due to his consistently impressive performances.
The 26-year-old striker was heavily linked with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea last season, but all talks failed to materialise, as none of them met his release clause from Napoli.
This season, Osimhen is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, but he has continued to prove his worth, scoring 13 goals and five assists in 16 appearances for the Turkish club.
There have been a lot of speculations about a possible transfer to Manchester United this January, but nothing concrete has happened yet. But Soccernet.ng reports that Liverpool have entered the mix and could sign him if they sell Darwin Nunez, who has performed way below expectations.
