Africa’s technology festival, XPLORE Disruptors, powered by Lognetics, is set to transform the future of technology across the continent as it kicks off another edition of its groundbreaking innovation movement, Chief Executive Officer of Lognetics and convener of XPLORE Disruptors, Engr. Light Ihesiulo, has said.

According to him, recognized as a major force driving Africa’s digital transformation, XPLORE Disruptors brings together startups, investors, developers, corporate executives, government officials, and thought leaders from around the world. He also said that the festival serves as a dynamic platform to showcase creativity, foster collaboration, and amplify the continent’s growing influence in global innovation.

Speaking on the vision behind the festival, Engr. Light Ihesiulo, Chief Executive Officer of Lognetics and convener of XPLORE Disruptors, said the platform represents more than a conference. “When we started XPLORE, we knew Africa needed more than discussions—it needed direction,” he said. “The world is evolving, and we wanted to build a platform that not only showcases Africa’s brilliance but equips innovators to thrive globally. XPLORE is Africa’s message to the world that we’re not just part of the digital revolution—we’re leading it.

“The festival distinguishes itself with a holistic design that goes beyond exhibitions and panel sessions. It creates an immersive environment where participants can learn, connect, and build sustainable partnerships. Through collaborations with global organizations, venture capital firms, and key ministries of the Nigerian government, XPLORE has become a bridge between innovation and opportunity.’’

Since its inception, XPLORE has focused on positioning Africa as a central hub for technological advancement. Over the years, the initiative has provided thousands of digital skills scholarships, hosted high-impact mentorship programmes, and facilitated startup–investor connections that have resulted in partnerships, seed funding, and international recognition. Under Ihesiulo’s leadership, Lognetics has expanded its partnerships across education, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to build a sustainable tech-driven Africa. “Africa’s time is now,” Ihesiulo affirmed. “Our goal is to ensure that no African youth is left behind in the digital economy. Through XPLORE, we’re nurturing a generation that will redefine global innovation standards.”
