The appointment was announced during the second quarter (Q2) Board Meeting held in Abuja.
The Company said “Ahmed brings with him a wealth of experience, embodying over five decades of distinguished service in both the public and private sectors as an accomplished engineer, policy strategist, and corporate leader.
“His extensive back-ground includes several key leadership positions that have shaped Nigeria’s industrial and eco-nomic landscape, such as: Group executive director at the Dangote Group; president of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN); pioneer director-general of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC); Group executive director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC); and di-rector-general of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG).”
