Stocks Gain N409bn As Bullish Momentum Persists

The naira on Monday sustained its appreciation against the US dollar at the official foreign exchange market, closing at N1,429.30. Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed the currency gained N1.54, representing a 0.1 per cent improvement from Friday’s close of N1,430.84. The marginal gain reflects continued stability at the official window, supported by improved liquidity and steady market confidence at the start of the trading week.
