NGO To Tackle Hunger, Poverty, Insecurity

A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Chief Emeka Agba Foundation (CEAF), has pledged to use empowerment to fight insecurity, joblessness and illiteracy.

This is even as the CEAF blamed poverty, illiteracy over the increased insecurity other vices in the country.

Agba announced that his foundation is ready to partner any individuals or corporate bodies to tackle insecurity, poverty and hunger which has become a menace in the country.

Addressing journalists in Lagos, Agba said, “Dignity of labour is seriously being threatened based on wrong school curriculum whereby young men and women are not be given skillful training that can make them self-dependence after schooling.

“Chief Emeka Agba Foundation empathy and desire for grassroot development where humanitarian service is needed to address youth empowerment, vocational skills acquisition, scholarships, mentorship, health and creating enabling environment for socioeconomic independence of young Nigerians. The NGO is out to address poverty and poverty related challenges at the grassroots.”
