In a bid to help Nigeria become a better nation, pastor and author, Igbego Ogwuche Sarah, has revealed lasting tips that will aid Nigerians come out of trying times and become better.
Igbego Ogwuche Sarah is a devoted servant of Jesus Christ and pastor at Army of God Ministries, whose faith-filled journey extends beyond the pulpit and into the realm of creative leadership and authorship. Alongside her role as a pastor is also a mother of 3, a Creative Director and Brand Strategist. Pastor Igbego recently penned a powerful book titled “Praying for Our Children,” a 52-week devotional prayer guide designed to nurture and fortify the spiritual lives of our precious children. She is married to Fred Ogwuche, who serves as the Apostle for Army of God Ministries, together, they exemplify a partnership grounded in faith and a shared mission of spreading the gospel.
Disclosing these tips in an interview, she noted that Nigerians are facing so much, but should never lose hope, adding that there should never be a void of hope.
She revealed that Nigerians need to see where the change is so that it can be implemented, adding that the change is first going to start individually by the peeling off of all negative societal layers that has been impacted on individuals.
According to her, Every Nigerian needs to crush the unconscious mindset limitations that has grown over the years.
She stated that Nigerians are blessed and strong individuals who has the ability to overcome many challenges.
Igbego said, “I want to encourage my fellow Nigerians to pray so as to get grounded in Christ, find yourself in Christ, find out what makes you you, meditate on that through the Word of God, receive a download of the next directions and apply it.
“Don’t depend on one rich uncle and aunt, give yourself what it takes to take yourself out of the place where you are and to where you need to be by the grace of God.
“Sometimes I feel like the average Nigerian is thinking so big, let’s start small, If we can be diligent as Nigerians and have integrity, there’s no way that we will not be the winning nation.”
Speaking on the impact the church has on the people, she explained that the church has invested more in the people by imparting knowledge, building them up spiritually, financially with programs, scholarships and proper accessibility to medical care.
 However, she expressed her displeasure in the way some pastors have become selfish and have affected the church negatively, she added that if more pastors are selfless, the church will have a working system.
Advising the church as a whole, she said, “I feel like if we just look at things from different perspectives and encourage one another to see how we can look beyond ourselves and be open -minded enough to build more of a community, I feel like we will be more progressive as a body.”
