President Tinubu Unveils Ministerial Appointments, Portfolios

In a significant development, President Bola Tinubu has officially announced the lineup of ministerial appointments and their respective portfolios, following their approval by the senate.

One of the standout appointments comes in the form of former governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State. Wike is now entrusted with the position of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), while Umahi takes on the mantle of minister of works. These appointments underscore President Tinubu’s strategic vision of harnessing the expertise of experienced leaders to drive key sectors forward.

The comprehensive list of ministers and their designated responsibilities includes:

Bosun Tijani: Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy
Ishak Salaco: Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management
Wale Edun: Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy
Bunmi Tunji: Minister of Marine and Blue Economy
Adedayo Adelabu: Minister of Power
Tunisia Alausa: Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare
Dele Alake: Minister of Solid Minerals Development
Lola Ade-John: Minister of Tourism
Adegboyega Oyetola: Minister of Transportation
Doris Anite: Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment
Hannatu Musawa: Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy
Mohammed Badaru: Minister of Defence
Bello Matawalle: Minister of State for Defence
Yusuf T. Sunumu: Minister of State for Education
Ahmed M. Dangiwa: Minister of Housing and Urban Development
