Rack Centre, West Africa’s best-connected carrier and cloud neutral data centre has won the Next Bulls Award category at the 2023 edition of the Top 25 CEOs Awards. The ceremony took place at the upscale Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, over the weekend.
The Top 25 CEOs Award is organised by BusinessDay Media Limited and the Nigerian Exchange Group(NGX). The annual awards have served as a capital market bellwether used in identifying the best performing chief executive officers and stocks on the Nigerian Stock Exchange as well as leading privately-held companies.
The award recognises leaders of public and private companies who have created sustainable alpha-generating value for their shareholders through their strategic priorities, operating efficiencies, organisational values, and market engagement activities.
Rack Centre won the award based on its impressive growth, market reputation, regulatory compliance, and world-class corporate values. Under the visionary leadership of its Group CEO, Jasper Lankhorst, the company has grown steadily, attracting broad positive interest from industry analysts.
While receiving the award on behalf of Rack Centre, Chief Operating Officer, Ezekiel Egboye said, “We are honored to be recognised by BusinessDay and the NGX for our contributions to the Nigerian economy. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team who are committed to providing world-class data centre services to our clients.”
Rack Centre became the first International Finance Corporation (IFC) EDGE-certified data centre in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Officially making this the first Green Certified Data Centre in Africa and the most connected facility in the region, according to its Peering DB ranking.
