Rano Air Begins Operations

The Kano State governor, Dr  Abdullahi Umar Ganduje will flag – off the inaugural flight of Rano  Airline from the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Sunday, May 7th 2023 .

This was disclosed by the management of the airline in a statement on Thursday.

“The management of Rano Air wishes to inform the flying public that its flight operations will be flagged off by the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, on Sunday 7th May, 2023 at the domestic terminal of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano at 10:00 am,” the statement said.

It added that the commercial flights from Abuja and Kano to the various cities of Nigeria will commence immediately thereafter.

It was gathered that Rano Air is owned by the Kano-born  oil and gas Magnate, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, who is the chairman/chief executive officer of A A Rano Group of Companies.
