RSaudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyat, hosted Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defense, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, in Riyadh on Monday to discuss bolstering defense collaboration between the two nations.
The meeting highlighted shared priorities in regional and international security, with both officials emphasizing the importance of deeper cooperation to address global defense challenges.
Discussions centered on enhancing collaboration in defense technologies, joint training initiatives, and developing comprehensive security strategies.
Prince Abdulrahman praised Nigeria’s efforts in addressing its domestic and regional security issues.
He noted that fostering such alliances was critical in achieving broader stability in Africa and the Middle East, regions increasingly affected by complex security dynamics.
