SedCAz Fashion kicked off the second quarter of 2021 in style with the release of its latest collection, Buge Ready-to-Wear.

SedCAz Fashion, co-owned by Tolulope Sedomo Ajayi, Christiana Asada, and Olufemi Sosu-Mobee, specializes in creating clothing for men, women, and children. Together, they have built a brand known for seamlessly blending African traditions with modern fashion trends.

One of the standout elements in the collection is the artistic illustrations that adorn several pieces.

Tolulope Sedomo Ajayi, renowned for her illustrative skills, brings her unique artistry to life through stunning visuals on the garments. Her ability to layer fine details—whether through bold strokes or delicate lines—gives the clothing an unmistakable artistic flair.

In addition to the artistic elements, the structure of the garments plays a key role in the collection’s appeal.

Olufemi Sosu-Mobee brings elegance and form to the designs with his expertise.

In the two-piece ensembles and Aso-oke gowns, sharp cuts meet the natural flow of the fabrics, demonstrating his mastery of form and balance.

His attention to small details, like seam placement and drapes, gives the collection a sense of refinement and sophistication.Olufemi’s ability to select the right fabrics for each dress is another aspect of his talent.

In this collection, he skillfully works with silk, cotton, linen, and Aso-oke to create dresses that remain true to their cultural roots while incorporating contemporary cuts.

His expertise in layering, pleating, and paneling adds dimension, creating garments that are visually captivating and move gracefully with the body.

The construction process, handled by Christiana Asada, further elevates the collection. Her garment construction skills complement the designs by adding embroidery, buttons, zippers, and precise seams, ensuring each dress has a polished finish both inside and out.

Christiana uses hand-stitching techniques and accurate measurements to achieve symmetry and functionality, ensuring that each design looks as neat inside as it does outside.

Christiana Asada’s meticulous attention to seam allowances and precise stitching ensures a durable, high-quality finish.

The combination of silk, cotton, linen, and Aso-oke fabrics provides a rich texture and depth to the collection, while the embroidery and trims add an extra layer of sophistication.
