The inaugural Sub-Saharan African Gusiness and Investment Summit (SSABIS), a signature side-event of the 2023 United Natons General Assembly, will take place on September 25 in New York, United States.

The conference will focus on investment opportunities in the Sub-Saharan African region and it will feature top US and African government officials as well as business leaders interested in advancing United States investment in Africa.

Executive director of SSABIS, Joyce Rogers Halliday, said numerous African presidential and ministerial delegations have already committed to attending the event along with select US officials from the Department of State Congress, USAID, Prosper Africa and business leaders from a cross-section of industries.

Halliday, who is also the chief executive officer of Chronicles Consulting Group (CCG), the organisers of SSABIS, said the summit is about “making deals that will benefit only the people of Sub-Saharan Africa but American business as well.

“Our programmes are innovative, featuring lively and practical sessions that focus on what’s important- growing investment in Sub-Saharan Africa.
