TV Reality Show To Reward Youthful Entrepreneurs With N50m Prizes

Nigeria’s foremost reality entrepreneurial TV show ‘The Next Titan Nigeria,’ now officially branded ‘Betano The Next Titan’ is pledging deeper commitment to fostering youth entrepreneurship across the country, planning to give N50 million total prizes to customers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony and premiere evening in Lagos, the executive producer of the show, Mide Akinlaja, described the show’s journey as a decade-long mission to demystify entrepreneurship and create a new generation of job creators among Nigerian youths.
“The Next Titan is not just a television show. It is an entrepreneurial movement that ignites the spirit of enterprise in our young people We scout for talented young Nigerians, mentor them through rigorous tasks and boardroom sessions, and ultimately fund their business ideas to transform them into job creators,” Akinlaja said.
According to him, the new season comes with a N50 million total prize pool, with the winner taking home N40 million, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runners-up receiving N5 million, N3 million and N2 million respectively.
Over the years, The Next Titan has established itself as Nigeria’s leading entrepreneurial reality TV show, using the entertainment format to practically engineer a shift in the mindset of thousands of Nigerian youths from job-seekers to job creators.
This season began with auditions in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Lagos, and an online component for remote participants. From thousands of applications, 50 young entrepreneurs were selected for a boot camp, from which the final 20 contestants were unveiled during the premiere.

“These 20 smart, unconventional and streetwise individuals will spend 10 weeks in the Titan House, competing in real business tasks across Lagos, They will engage in challenges touching on sales, marketing, advertising, philanthropy and community service,” Akinlaja noted.

He added that, the show’s panel of main judges renowned business leaders; Kyari Bukar, Tonye Cole, Chris Parkes and Lilian Olubi will also provide mentorship, while other successful entrepreneurs will visit the contestants weekly to offer guidance.
With this year’s show is sponsored by Betano, a leading global gametech and betting brand .

Speaking during the event, Betano’s senior business development manager (Africa), Daniel Lamberti, expressed pride in the company’s new role as title sponsor while reaffirming its commitment to nurturing Nigerian talents.

He described the alignment between Betano’s growth and the core of The Next Titan’s values, stating that “Just as we evolved from a young brand to a global player reaching over 13 million customers across 20 countries, The Next Titan continues to nurture the next generation of Nigerian business leaders.”

He further revealed that, Betano’s global ambassador, NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, of Nigerian heritage, represents the company’s deep connection to Africa, and Nigeria in particular.

Consequently, Akinlaja added that The Next Titan will remain a platform for young people to “dare to dream, build value, and become masters of their destinies.”
