United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc marked the beginning of the yuletide season with a festive ceremony, including fireworks and Christmas carols. Through its corporate social responsibility arm, UBA Foundation, the bank celebrated the Garden Light Up Ceremony and Carol evening at its head office.

UBA’s group managing director/CEO, Oliver Alawuba, and management staff officially lit up the head office and the UBA Foundation Garden. Alawuba emphasised UBA’s commitment to spreading light, joy, and hope. The ceremony featured Christmas carol renditions by UBA’s Customer Fulfilment Centre Choir, a guided tour of the UBA Foundation Garden, and festive treats for attendees.

UBA Foundation focuses on the socio-economic betterment of communities in which the bank operates, with a focus on education, environment, and economic empowerment.
