Zamfara APC supporters demand Shinkafi’s expulsion Over anti-party

Supporters of the All Progressives Congress in Zamfara State have asked the party’s national leadership to immediately expel Wamban Shinkafi, accusing him of persistently working against the APC.

The demand was conveyed by the group’s Secretary, Comrade Mubarak Musa Shanawa Shinkafi, who warned that Shinkafi’s continued stay in the party threatens unity, discipline and credibility.

He said it was “shocking” that a party member would repeatedly undermine the APC through actions he described as disloyal and divisive.

According to him, recent publications and statements allegedly sponsored by Shinkafi were carefully crafted to smear the party in Zamfara.

He alleged that the activities were funded by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party to create internal discord and weaken the APC politically.

“This is sabotage, pure and simple,” he said.

The group insisted that Shinkafi lacks any meaningful structure within the party, adding that his offices and operations were largely inactive.

They argued that he had failed to contribute to party growth or cohesion, and now functioned mainly as a tool for PDP manipulation.

Allowing him to remain in the APC, they warned, would send a dangerous signal that betrayal was tolerated.

They urged party leaders at all levels to act swiftly, saying inaction would amount to complicity with anti-party forces.

“The APC belongs to its members, and no individual should be allowed to compromise its integrity,” the statement added.

The supporters reaffirmed their loyalty to the party and vowed to hold accountable anyone working against its interests.

They insisted that the APC in Zamfara must remain united, disciplined and resilient against both internal and external threats.
