The operators of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two Ikeja (MMA2), Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), has donated alcohol-based sanitiser to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

She further emphasised that the gesture demonstrates appreciation towards LASUTH for consistently accepting BASL’s emergency referrals.

She said a strategic partnership between BASL and LASUTH would be leverage to make further important interventions when necessary.

The BASL team were received by the management team of LASUTH, led by the chief medical director, Professor Adetokunbo Fabamwo.

Other members of his team were Professor Adebowale Adekoya, Director of Clinical Services and Training, Elizabeth Ashaolu, Head of IPC, and Adebola Aina, Chief Nursing Services.

In his remarks, the chief medical director, said the token donation was much more valuable to clinical services than what many would think.

He said, while the institution enjoys state of the art medical equipment and tools, supportive gestures as the donation were also necessary for consolidation.

He said by the gesture, BASL has demonstrated the spirit of good neighbourliness, which must be reciprocated whenever the opportunity present itself.

“Luckily, the donation is coming at a time when there is a newly- discovered Strain of COVID-19, making it more useful at this time,” he said.
