SystemSpecs has been awarded the ‘Best Indigenous Technology Promotion (Software)’ by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

Representing SystemSpecs, the award was presented to Dogara Usman, Head of Government Business-Federal, Remita, by the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Hon. Auwal Mohammed Jatau, during the Digital Nigeria 2023 Awards Dinner held at the International Conference Center in Abuja.

SystemSpecs is an indigenous software company, providing integrated solutions to multiple stakeholders across the public and private sectors of the economy. From facilitating technological transformation in government and indigenous-owned businesses to supporting indigenous youth by building their capacity for solution driven ideas for national development – SystemSpecs commitments are rooted in its long-standing belief that it can generate a positive impact in the growth of the Nigerian economy. And it has spent the last three decades building a strong foundation around digital inclusion, which has evolved through the years.

The Digital Nigeria Awards celebrates efforts made to position Nigeria on the global information and communications technologies map by recognising the outstanding contributions of organisations and their business leaders to the growth of the sector. This Award emphasises the need for the continued patronage of indigenous software such as what SystemSpecs provides, reckoning with numerous financial institutions, HR and payroll establishments and other core industries.

Consequently, the SystemSpecs group has remained top of mind, consecutively winning several awards for its immense impact to the development of digitisation and financial inclusion, championed through four business entities – Remita Payment Services Limited; SystemSpecs Technology Services Limited, HumanManager Limited and Deelaa. With its sophisticated technological solutions, SystemSpecs is transforming business processes and operations culture in payments, data management, payroll, lifestyle, and entertainment. Product functionality, quality and integrity have been largely sustained by investing in a digitally engaged workforce who bring greater digital skills to bear on every activity. This serves to be the most effective way to unleash innovation and capture efficiencies at a national level.

Mr. Usman said “We have been at the forefront of digitalization and financial inclusion. It is rewarding to be recognised for our impact. This builds on our efforts for broadening access to digital information and services”.

Adopting software development during digital transformation allows companies to remain relevant, while enhancing productivity, and overall profitability. And the picture will continue to shift rapidly with the emergence of new technologies.

SystemSpecs is renowned for driving corporate evolution and helping firms to adapt in an ever-changing digital landscape. With the prospect of reaching millions of Nigerians, driven by its strong service-oriented culture, the indigenous company is a standout firm that is pushing the frontier forward for everyone.
