Simon Page College of Marketing, Africa’s largest provider of professional marketing training offering CIM, UK qualifications across three markets, Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria hosted its alumni to a dinner which was attended by leading business leaders such as Omoboyede Olusanya, Group Managing Director /CEO of Flour Mills PLC and Dinesh Rathi, the Managing Director/CEO of Lagos Free Trade Zone (Tolaram).
The dinner themed:‘Celebrating Excellence and Inspiring the Future’ which was to celebrate the alumni and their achievements, brought together professionals who have been trained in the various courses provided by the college.
In his remarks, Omoboyede Olusanya lauded Simon Page College of Marketing for celebrating its alumni noting that the college is transforming the marketing professional training landscape, and further remarked that the marketing sector is one of the most developed sectors in Nigeria.
Speaking on the theme: ‘Celebrating Excellence and Inspiring the Future’ Olusanya said Nigeria’s society has people who are extremely inspirational and have the desire to be great by striving to be at the top. If there is no celebration of such feats, it will not drive the future ambitions of the upcoming generation.
He further urged the Alumni to see the platform as a steppingstone because they are through it visualizing for the upcoming generation what their future should be.
In his remarks, Princewill Omorogiuwa, CEO, and founder of Simon Page College of Marketing said the dinner is a celebration of the remarkable achievements of the alumni, the impact they have made in their respective industries, and the enduring legacy of Simon Page College of Marketing. He congratulated them, noting that their success serves as a testament to the exceptional education and training that Simon Page College of Marketing provides.
Dinesh Rathi, managing director/CEO of Lagos Free Trade Zone (Tolaram) in his speech tasked the Alumni of the college to show commitment as they strive to excel in their various careers.
The high point of the event was the presentation of awards to some alumni in recognition of their remarkable achievements/contributions to their various industries.
