Abuja will take centre stage in global economic dialogue this month as business mogul Tony Elumelu delivers the keynote speech at the Abuja Business and Investment Expo 2025.

The four-day summit, scheduled for October 22 to 24 at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, is expected to draw more than 1,000 participants from 40 countries, including investors, policymakers, diplomats, financiers, and industry leaders.

Organised by the Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL), with Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike as Special Guest of Honour, the event will showcase Abuja’s investment potential and serve as a platform for strategic partnerships.

Themed: “Empowering Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Potential in Emerging Markets,” this year’s edition will highlight innovation and inclusivity in driving economic resilience.

Dr. Maureen Tamuno, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AICL, said the convergence would not only spotlight opportunities but also provide practical strategies for addressing challenges in emerging markets. “The summit will connect policymakers with investors, foster collaborations between government and the private sector, and link local entrepreneurs with international partners,” she said.

Beyond Elumelu, other confirmed speakers include Dr. Abba Aliyu, Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency; actress and filmmaker Joke Silva; actor and filmmaker Jim Iyke; and social entrepreneur Buffy Okeke-Ojiudu, Chief Executive Officer of Zebra Group.

The programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, debates, business matchmaking, and high-level networking sessions. Organisers describe it as a landmark platform set to redefine international investment summits in Africa.
