AIICO Insurance Plc has partnered Indo-Eye Care Foundation, who successfully conducted free eye surgeries to 2,000 Nigerians in the current year.

Since 2007, the foundation has made it an annual event to conduct between 2,000 and 2,500 eye surgery free-of-charge for people and had done similar figure in the current year.

Speaking recently at the 2022 Sharad Purnima Dandiya event in Victoria Island, Lagos recently, the Managing Director/CEO, AIICO Insurance Plc, Mr. Babatunde Fajemirokun said, “At AIICO, we support initiatives and causes that have significant impact on people and the community, in keeping with our corporate responsibility and sustainability objectives. We value what the Indo-Eye Care Foundation is doing and we consider it a privilege to support them.”

Mr. Fajemirokun, who was represented at the occasion by the company’s communication manager, Mr. Ademola Adenekan, stated further that the company places premium value on health and wellbeing and remains committed to such causes to provided succour to the less-privileged in the society.
