Dufil Prima Foods, the makers of Nigeria’s leading noodle brand, Indomie, has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Nigeria by spreading holiday cheer to orphanages and elderly homes with the donation of cartons of Indomie Noodles.
The donations were made to several institutions, including the Red Cross Motherless Babies’ Home in Makoko, Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Centre in Akoka, Heritage Homes in Anthony, Little Saints Orphanage in Palmgrove Estate, and Regina Mundi Home for the Elderly in Mushin.
Temitope Ashiwaju, Group Corporate Communication and Events Manager at Dufil Prima Foods, explained why the brand was involved in this and why these organisatioins. “These institutions play a vital role in caring for children without families and elderly individuals in need of support, and Dufil Prima Foods’ donation brought much-needed comfort and cheer to both residents and caregivers,” he said.
According to him, this initiative is part of a longstanding tradition upheld for over ten years. “This is an important part of our CSR activities because we believe in not just providing products but in making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. At Indomie Noodles, we listen to the needs of the people, and it’s through initiatives like this that we continue to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” he stated.
During the visits, the Indomie team was met with heartfelt gratitude from both residents and caregivers, who expressed their deep appreciation for the brand’s unwavering support over the years. They shared their excitement and gratitude, noting how they always look forward to receiving Indomie Noodles.
Indomie Noodles has not only built a legacy as an iconic leader in the Nigerian market but also as a brand dedicated to giving back. Through its ongoing social responsibility efforts, Dufil Prima Foods is committed to fostering a brighter future, one meal at a time.
