The House of Freedom, Lekki Phase 1, has restated its commitment to further lift the hopes of women without boundaries.
This is part of its efforts to celebrate and support women from all walks of life, while also driving change globally.
This was disclosed at a press conference to formally usher in this year’s Women for Change Global Conference 2022 which will hold from Friday, 23rd to Sunday, 25th of September 2022, at Freedom Centre, Lagos.
To this end, the conference will help women rediscover themselves – their purpose, identity, potential; which will impact their families and society at large.
The conference is unprecedented as it extensively draws insight from the story and significance of Deborah as recorded in the Bible. As an influential woman, leader, and a Judge, Deborah’s great exploits is a peerless inspiration for all women to step out of their comfort zone, taking a cue from Deborah’s leadership and collaborations that inspired the Israelites to mighty victory.
The conference is designed for aspiring women of vision to find and strengthen their voice and potential.
Notable women advocates from Nigeria and diaspora will be on ground to empower, inspire and challenge all aspiring women on the path to self-realisation, discovery and fulfillment. Some of the speakers include: Mrs Nkoyo Rapu, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, Pst. Debola Deji-Kurumi, Pst. Toyin Poju Oyemade, Dr. Fejiro Nwoko, Prophet Fanny Ekpekurede, and Apostle Opi Agha.
They will be on ground to help young and older women receive strength for self development & boldness to step into purpose and conviction to impact the community and the nation. Music isn’t left out as some of the leading voices in the gospel industry, such as, Ada Ehi and Sunmisola Agbebi as Music ministers.
The pastor & coordinator of The Women for Change Network of This Present House, which is one of the expressions of The House of Freedom, Omolade Oshinubi, speaking at the event, said, the Women for Change Network was founded in 2005 by Dr Tony Rapu to nurture, empower & launch women to fulfill purpose in every aspect of life.
She stressed that this is the best time to be alive and be a woman, while reiterating that the theme Deborah, was a divine inspiration as exemplified by Deborah’s great leadership exploits.
Oshinubi disclosed that the season of negative narrative or beliefs about women being perceived as victims is over as God is putting an end to victim mentality, adding that, the conference will drive self-discovery & clarity of divine intentions & mandates which will open doors to precision of purpose, self development, confidence, intentional influence & impact.
Also speaking at the event was Oluwakemi Jolayemi, Co-Pastor, Holy Hill, Lagos, who said, the Holy Hill is one of the expressions under House of Freedom, to target young adults who constantly battle with varying questions in this times.
She stressed that, the mission is dedicated to supporting young adults by addressing their needs and charting a more divine and creative path to fulfilling destiny, achieving and living their longstanding dreams.
