First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. has unveiled the Verve Flash Promo, a nationwide campaign designed to reward customers with free Verve cards and encourage seamless digital banking.

In a statement on Thursday, the bank’s Acting Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Olayinka Ijabiyi, said the promo, which runs from October 6, 2025, to January 30, 2026, targets customers whose ATM cards have expired.

According to Ijabiyi, 131 customers will receive free Verve cards daily on a first-come, first-served basis across all branches, reflecting FirstBank’s commitment to convenience, security, and customer satisfaction.

Group Executive, e-Business and Retail Products, Chuma Ezirim, said the initiative aligns with FirstBank’s 131-year legacy of trust and innovation in Nigeria’s financial space.

“The promo reinforces our commitment to providing secure and seamless payment solutions while appreciating our loyal customers,” Ezirim said.

He added that the partnership with Verve would further deepen financial inclusion and promote electronic transactions across the country.

Managing Director of Verve International, Vincent Ogbunude, said the collaboration reflects Verve’s dedication to making payments simpler, faster, and more rewarding for Nigerians.

“The Verve Flash Promo not only encourages card use but also supports financial inclusion and daily secure transactions,” he noted.

Meanwhile, the ongoing Verve Good Life Promo — which rewards customers with 10 per cent cashback at select merchant outlets including The Place Restaurant, Quickteller, Buypower, Filmhouse, Addide Supermarkets, and Chowdeck — has been extended to November 30, 2025.

Cardholders will also enjoy cashback on Google Play Store purchases throughout the period, with a chance to win up to ₦1 million on transactions via ATMs, POS terminals, or online platforms.
