The Pipeline Professionals’ Association of Nigeria (PLAN), is planning a national summit
to address challenges and explore innovative solutions in pipeline technology and secure the nation’s pipelines.
Experts have been assembled to address the issues at the 8th edition of the Nigeria Pipeline Technology and Security Conference (NIPITECS).
The event will take place on November 21-22, 2024, Abuja.
In a statement on Monday, the Chairman of PLAN, Engr. Geoff Onuoha, revealed that the conference is a flagship event designed to address challenges and explore innovative solutions in pipeline technology and security.
This year’s theme, “Pipelines – Critical Assets for National Economic Development and Environmental Sustainability,” highlights the importance of pipelines as essential infrastructure for Nigeria’s economic growth and environmental stewardship.
The conference will bring together stakeholders, including industry leaders, experts, and policymakers from Nigeria, Africa, and the Diaspora.
Attendees can look forward to keynote presentations, panel discussions, and an exhibition showcasing the latest advancements in pipeline technology and services.
Topics on the agenda include: Advances in pipeline design and construction, application of artificial intelligence in pipeline management and sustainable bioremediation practices.
