Dr. Owen Omogiafo, OON, President and CEO of Transcorp Group, has been recognised as the Outstanding African CEO of the Year at the prestigious African Achievers Awards. The awards ceremony, held annually, celebrates individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to the developmental sector of the African continent.

The African Achievers Awards, acknowledged by FORBES Magazine as one of the most esteemed award ceremonies on the African continent, aims to honor those who selflessly dedicate their time and talents to building stronger communities. The awards recognise achievements in various categories, including Community Development, Arts & Culture, Business & Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Community Service, Rural Development, and Education.

Dr. Omogiafo’s exceptional leadership and outstanding contributions to Transcorp Group have earned her this prestigious accolade. Under her visionary guidance, Transcorp Group has made significant strides in advancing Nigeria’s economy and empowering local communities.
