The Zamfara North Apc Unity Forum (ZNAUF) will formally inaugurate its new executive committee on Saturday, aiming to drive the economic and political development of the zone

In a statement by the forum’s Chairman, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Mua’zu Magarya, and its Secretary, Lauwali Abubakar Zannah Shinkafi, announced the inauguration plans to take place in Kaduna today.

“The forum was purposefully formed to promote development—economically and politically,” the statement emphasized.

The exco intends to foster collaboration among stakeholders as part of its strategy to address the region’s challenges.

“We aim to ensure unity among everyone involved in the conference. Additionally, we will work closely with all stakeholders to promote development in the region,” Magarya stated.

ZNAUF was established with a vision of fostering unity and a shared commitment to growth. The forum is expected to bring together community leaders, political actors, and development experts to address the region’s pressing issues.

Today’s inauguration is set to outline the forum’s immediate priorities and long-term plans. Key among them is identifying and tackling economic challenges while creating avenues for political stability and inclusive governance.

The forum’s exco also reiterated its commitment to working in partnership with relevant stakeholders.

“The main objective is to develop the region economically and politically. We will also collaborate with relevant stakeholders to achieve this purpose,” Shinkafi noted.

The statement say the establishment of ZNAUF comes at a crucial time for Zamfara North, which faces socio-economic challenges compounded by lack of infrastructure. The forum’s proactive approach has raised hopes for a turnaround in the region’s fortunes.

The statement expressed optimism about the forum’s plans, emphasizing the need for unity and practical solutions.

“This initiative has the potential to bring the community together and drive meaningful change,” the statement said .

The inauguration ceremony is expected to attract prominent figures, signaling a strong start for the forum’s efforts to make Zamfara North a hub of development and unity.
