Mixta Africa has introduced polo and equestrian facilities at Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Estate as part of efforts to expand the development into a broader residential, leisure and lifestyle destination.
The new development was unveiled at an invitation-only event held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, on October 23, 2026, with more than 200 guests in attendance.
The project features a regulation polo field, stables, a training field, paddock, clubhouse and crescent lake, alongside residential properties designed around the polo and equestrian environment.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Chief Executive Officer of Mixta Africa, Deji Alli, said the development reflected the company’s commitment to creating lasting value through real estate and destination development.
Delivering a keynote address titled, “The Courage to Build: Vision, Execution and Enduring Value,” Alli said the company’s ambition went beyond selling residential properties to developing destinations that offer residents compelling lifestyle experiences.
He said the new development builds on Mixta Africa’s long-term vision for Lakowe, bringing together residential living, sports, leisure, wellness and community development.
According to the company, the residential collection includes premium villas, loft terraces and apartments, with selected properties overlooking the polo field and lake.
The unveiling also generated initial ownership enquiries for a wider collection of residential properties expected to be released as the development progresses.
Mixta Africa said the project builds on its experience in developing residential communities across its markets and its existing investment in Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Estate.
Established in 2005, Mixta Africa is a pan-African real estate developer with operations in Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire.
The company said it has delivered more than 30,000 homes across its markets.
In Nigeria, its portfolio includes Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Estate, Adiva Plainfields Estate, Beechwood Estate along the Lekki-Epe Expressway and Fara Park in Sangotedo, Lagos.
